PaPaYa

A Personal Data Space solution, utilizes the datoms protocol to create individual data spaces, incorporates personal-blockchain for data asset governance, and enables data asset publication and sharing in the Data Market.

Data Rights Tool

Papaya's personal data rights tool addresses key capabilities granted by privacy laws: inquiry, copying, correction, supplementation, deletion, transfer, explanation, and litigation rights. It also provides users with informed consent, decision-making authority, and the ability to restrict or deny data processing activities.

Data Monetization

Individual users exercise their data copying rights and transform their personal data into assets. PeopleData collaborates data from various Apps to complete personal data monetization. Users request data replication from Apps, which then collects and signs data blocks according to industry standards. Encrypted data is transferred to the user's Personal Data Space (PDS) using a P2P protocol. Users receive signed data blocks, which are then converted into new data assets using the datoms protocol. Assets are added to the directory chain, increasing the data asset collection with various types and sources of datoms.

Data Usage Protocol

Users can directly provide personal data, ensuring trustworthiness through the PeopleData infrastructure and protocols. Privacy and security concerns can be addressed using secure and privacy-protecting tools/services like DatomsPod. Alternatively, users can delegate third parties to provide their data, who also rely on PeopleData infrastructure and protocols for trust.

Data requesters initiate collection or dynamic data usage requests for specific processing purposes through PeopleData or media, specifying contract details. These data collections are referred to as "Data Cooperatives" or "Data DAOs." Multiple users join these cooperatives or DAOs based on their agreement with the data requester's terms. The initiator or sponsor uses the users' data to achieve their goals and shares benefits as agreed upon. This process is facilitated by PeopleData's templates, smart contract ABI interfaces, and automated agreement handling.

Personal DataSpace Management

Users will receive a DID assigned by PeopleData, a digital wallet with a key-pair management system (KMS) and a datoms management system (DTX) for data asset transactions. They also gain access to the Personal Data Management System (PDMS), including a choice of authorized third-party cloud services (VPC) and datomspace for managing personal data storage, assetization, and directory. A Personal Blockchain (POC) is implemented for data asset cataloging. Users are provided with tools and services for exercising and defending their data rights, and datomspod ensures secure, trustworthy, and privacy-enhanced data asset delivery.

Data Sovereignty

Individual users exercise their data duplication rights and monetize their personal data with PeopleData. Users request data duplication from Apps, which collects and signs data blocks according to industry standards. The data is encrypted and transferred to the user's Personal Data Space (PDS). Users then utilize the datoms protocol to create new data assets (e.g., datoms-App-xxx), representing their consumption data. These assets are verified and cataloged, allowing external parties to understand the asset's attributes without accessing the data itself. This process can be repeated for different apps and sources, building a diverse personal data asset space.

Data DAO

In personal data asset management, users may provide their data to service providers either directly or through trusted intermediaries, using PeopleData infrastructure and protocols to ensure data credibility and privacy protection. Data requesters can initiate collection or dynamic data set requests through PeopleData or media, leading to the creation of "data cooperatives" or "data DAOs." Users who agree to the terms can join these cooperatives or DAOs, sharing their data for a specific purpose while benefiting from agreed-upon rewards.
